ERIC HAWKINS - Attorney At Law
Eric Hawkins received his B.A. from the University of Arizona, and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law. Eric has been with the firm since his admission to the bar in 2006, and became a partner in 2011. Eric practices primarily in the areas of Construction law, Employment law, and Business law. This work includes contract preparation and review, partnership agreements, construction collection claims, Registrar of Contractors matters and disputes both in and out of the courtroom. Over the past five years Eric has successfully litigated several cases involving business fraud, construction defects, and employment disputes. Eric has worked with the Alliance of Construction Trades in Tucson, and represents subcontractors and suppliers in the organization. Eric has written numerous articles on various issues including indemnification, construction contracts, insurance law and employment practices. Eric is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Construction Law Executive Council. Eric also serves on the Audit & Ethics Committee for the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
NEAL ECKEL - Attorney At Law
A graduate of the University of Arizona and U of A law school, Neal began practicing law in 1988. His practice focuses primarily in the areas of Construction, Business and Employment law. Neal has extensive experience in corporate formations, contract drafting and review, business and employment disputes, and all areas of the construction trade. Neal has been an attorney for the Alliance of Construction Trades, an organization of subcontractors in Tucson, since 1998 and represents numerous businesses within that organization. He also serves on the Attorneys’ Council for the National Subcontractors Association. He is a member of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona and has served as Chair of the Construction Law Section for Tucson. He has taught at seminars on construction contracts, Registrar of Contractors hearings, mechanic’s liens and business matters and has been recognized as one of Tucson’s Top Construction Lawyers the past two years. Neal has long been active in the community and, in addition to other volunteer work, has served on the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona Board since 1994. He was Chairman of the Board from 1996-1998 and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board from 2011-2013.
PATRIC E. DURAZZO - Attorney At Law
Born in Tucson, Pat’s family has been in Arizona for six generations. He graduated from Catalina High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona. After a stint in the USAF and the Air National Guard, Pat returned to the U of A and received his Juris Doctorate in 1977. Pat has practiced in many areas of the law, including Criminal, Family and Bankruptcy law. For the last 25 years he has focused on Business and Construction law as well as Personal Injury. Having tried many types of cases in both state and federal courts, Pat has a wide range of experience in litigating complex cases. For example, Pat has litigated construction matters before Arizona courts, Federal courts, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, and cases before several tribal courts. In 34 years of practice he has tried and presented hundreds of cases to both judge and jury. Pat is a past board member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and Southern Arizona Legal Aid. He represents various contractors, subcontractors and suppliers; he is a member of the Alliance of Contracting Trades(ACT), Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) and has taught seminars on many legal subjects to various groups concerning Injury and Construction Law.
